Not worth it

This bench although cute is not worth the money! It is very difficult to assemble. The holes for the shelves were not drilled completely through. The ones that were drilled were not lined up...Read complete review

This bench although cute is not worth the money! It is very difficult to assemble. The holes for the shelves were not drilled completely through. The ones that were drilled were not lined up thereby making the shelves crooked when you tried to put them in. There is a gap the entire width of the bench in two places at the top by the hooks which means I have to go get moldings, stain them and put them on so that the gaps are not showing! I am extremely disappointed in the way this furniture is constructed! I was considering buying one for a gift for my daughter, but given the shoddy construction I will not be purchasing another one! The people who engineered this furniture need to pay closer attention when they are doing their job!

I placed this piece in our foyer to clean up some of the mess caused by mittens, hats, and coats. It works great! It looks good and feels sturdy. My 6 year old enjoys sitting on it and calls it her "throne." It definitely requires 2 people to assemble, but was easy enough. I'm very happy overall!

It perfectly fits the area we purchased it for and it's the greatest thing for storing shoes and hats while having a seat to put them back on. The only negative was described by others - this was tough to put together.

        It took over 6 hours to assemble this, and then at the end we needed to "Rig: it to make it work. Not at all what I expected. To say this is difficult to assemble is the understatement of the century. We were really looking forward to getting this unit, and eventually we will forget how much of a pain it was to put together, but for now I'm not very happy. The hardware included is either too large or too small to work. We almost gave up, but found a way to make it work in the end. BEWARE!
