    Got this to use as bedroom storage - great for this purpose. Easy to assemble EXCEPT for the back which was difficult as the bench didn't "square" up in all corners and you need a very fine Phillips head screwdriver for the wood screws (NOT included). The directions for the body assembly were clear and the supplied hardware otherwise excellent.

    Quality wise the base piece had had holes drilled in the wrong place and filled/stained. They are covered by the bins so it doesn't detract from appearance, and the price I paid was great so I can't really complain.

        This bench is beautiful once assembled. I found the assembly directions to be confusing, however the design is very intuitive and combined with the diagram it was very easy to figure out. I also find the bench to be quite heavy. This is a pro and a con. The weight makes it difficult to move but it's solid wood and you know it's quality so there's no questions about its sturdiness. I purchased this bench in Pecan and the color is a perfect match to the trim in my home. We're very pleased. Mostly me, because my husband doesn't care as long as I'm happy, so I told him he's very happy then, and he agrees.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
