        There was no assembly and I was pleasantly surprised about that. It came fully assembled, including the legs. The bench was extremely well wrapped for protection. The red color that I bought was exactly as pictured and the quality of the fabric is wonderful. As one other reviewer said, it would have been nice to have the top have a hinge as you have to manually lift the entire top off to get inside. Very satisfied.

        Use this bench for storing bed pillows during the day, while displaying decorative pillows on my bed. I love the size, color and fabric and the modern look. I would have loved hinges incorporated into the design for easier access. Would not hesitate to recommend this bench to anyone who is looking for style, accent to a room, storage and managable size.
