I purchased this product after being referred to your website by a neighbor. I was looking for a bench with storage for my 3 kids to put their stuff in when coming in the door. (instead of dropping it on the floor) It is perfect for what I wanted. Although the back screw holes were not lined up properly so I had to leave out a few screws and there was a large ding in the front but I patched it. You get what you pay for so for what I paid for it I am completely satisfied. A neighbor actually loves it and plans on ordering one. I do wish the cushions came in some better colors. Some of the other benches offer better color options.

I didn't have super high expectations when I ordered this product - I thought it would be on a par with [...] self-assembly products. However, I found the materials to be of lesser quality than[...]- it uses the same cam lock and dowel system as [...], but the parts are of lesser quality and the tolerance and fit are worse. That said, the stain is attractive (it smells strongly though presumably this would wane with time). The result is an attractive looking but very flimsy bench that doesn't invite sitting. I read the previous reviews before purchasing and I am very disappointed with the product.

    I was searching for a bench for my front hallway area so that people could sit to take off and put their shoes on and I found this bench to be the best offer. It is very sturdy and has the best weight capacity of all the other benches that I looked at. It is a great value for the price. The instructions could have been a little more step by step but my 15 year old son and I put it together in a about 30-45 minutes. I simply love the bench it blends in well with my hardwood floor. Everyone that sits on it say that they really like it.

      I am using this as a book shelve for my children. Perfect size for them to reach the books and read on the floor. I removed the baskets because they have a thing on the bottom that can damage the wood. If you used them in a room with carpet it should be fine.
      It looks really nice and is very sturdy. My husband (135Lb) even stood on the furniture and jumped several times!!

          Love, love, love this product. Price was great, [...] and, magically, my clutter disappeared. I was looking for a solution to the area of my house where everyone dumped everything. This product solved that problem. Instead of 10 pairs of shoes lying around, now they are all stored out of sight inside the baskets. Instead of the kids bookbags, purses, jackets, belts, etc. lying around, they are all neatly hung in one place. Am looking forward to winter where I will actually be able to FIND my kids' gloves and hats, instead of the mad rush around the house to find them before the bus comes. This is going to save me so much time and frustration. Also, it looks very nice in my home and matches my other furniture well. You just can't beat this deal with a stick ;-)

          [...] I thought I would have no problem putting it together since my husband and I have put together quite a few pieces of furniture over the years. Wrong! The pictures are OK but there needs to be instruction on how the cam and screw unit works to connect the pieces. Once I figured that out, we were on a roll....until we came to the wood screws. My husband showed me that we needed to drill the holes for the screws so we wouldn't split the wood. This was AFTER I already had, so we backed up, glued & clamped the pieces, then drilled the holes the next day and it worked beautifully. This was all on the wall unit. [...] 2 days later it was much easier. This isn't fine furniture, but I didn't expect it to be. It's attractive and sturdy and will work well in my new entry. Since this is going in a new addition, I had the contractor hang the wall unit to make sure it was secure. We didn't use the mollies. I'm also going to use felt on the bottom of the baskets so they don't scratch the wood.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
