I ordered this cubbie bench for my entryway that didn't have a lot of space width-wise. This was perfect! While not the top of the line, it does the job & looks attractive. [...]. The instructions that it came with was not very clear. Once I figured out what was to go where, it was a piece of cake to assemble. Be gentle when laying down the pieces, or you may chip the corners. The material is composite board afterall.

Looks ok, but scuffs SO EASILY!

I use this in my hallway, but would not let anyone of any weight sit on it to put on shoes. It wasn't that easy to assemble, and the cam locks did not work properly. Also, many parts are held together merely with wooden pegs. It looks nice enough, but scuffs very easily with wicker baskets in the cubbies. I don't know how long this product will last--at least it was inexpensive. I think I would spend more money next time to get actual wood instead of laminated particle board. The size (hard to find small benches) and other reviews of this sold me on it, but I somewhat regret my decision.

Purchased this for Xmas for my son and his wife as an entry/boot shelf. It is pretty once it was put together, but my husband spent alot of time reinforcing it so it wouldn't fall apart. He put glue in with the screws to make it sturdier. The instructions were very difficult to figure out also. After it was assembled and glued, it is a nice looking shelf unit. Hopefully it will last a while.

Once you put this together, it should be okay. I just finished putting it together and can't offer a long term view. I know what I am doing when it comes to assembling furniture and these instructions set me back over a half hour. Be prepared to look at the pictures and your pieces to conceptualize how this goes together. The written instructions do not include all the steps of assembly, and the diagrams are not specific. A well designed instruction sheet would save a lot of time and frustration.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
