We bought this storage bench to store shoes and for a place to sit to put on shoes. We have it near the door we use most for entering and exiting. The design is simple and it feels sturdy after we assembled it. A couple of parts don't align exactly but it is not obvious unless one is inspecting it closely.

Decent enough product for the money. The doors don't fit right. The embeds that the doors fit into were not installed right. So product is not right.

I like the finished product, and assembly was easy until we got to the doors. Once assembled, one door would not close within the space provided. The holes were drilled too far out. I had to seal the hold and drill new ones. Then the door fit properly. Other than this, I have no complaints, but I consider this a big problm.
I like the weight of the product and the look. I use it in my child psychiatry office to hold a doll's house on the top, and some mega blocks, and an array of toys in the cabinets that would otherwise make the office look messy. It suits its purpose, as it is simple, unobtrusive, while matching my other wooden decor. The finishing on the edges also leaves a little to be desired, it is a bit rough in several places, but not enough to give splinters.

[...] We put the bench together in about an hour without much trouble. It is being used in our bonus room to store old photos albums and scrap books totaling 14 in all. The bench fits perfectly under low windows and provides extra seating as well. I plan to make a cushion to fit the seat area and possibly buy another bench to store more albums. The wood was a nice dark color and looks nice with our other furniture.

We found this bench easy to put together and well made. However, the color of the wood is a dark walnut. The photo on the web is much lighter than the bench color we got. Otherwise functional storage for the grandkid toys and sturdy bench for adults.
