This is a good looking, solid item and looks well made. The lines are clean and modern. I planned to put my bedspread in it every evening, but the lid is a tad heavy and awkward to replace, so I tend to put the bedspread on top of it instead of inside of it. Hinges on the lid would have made this the perfect ottoman.However, I looked for an ottoman at a lot of local stores and would still recommend this item over any I saw elsewhere. [@]
